The story
Arden is a French restaurant in Rochefort, Belgium, at Rue de Montainpré 27-29, inside the Château de Vignée estate. It holds one Michelin star (2026), and the kitchen cooks with vegetables the team grows and gathers on site.
Chef Marius Bosmans grows and gathers vegetables from the château greenhouse for the menu. The cooking is terroir driven and follows the rhythm of the seasons, aiming for a cuisine that is pure yet expressive. Gault&Millau awards the restaurant 16 points and notes that Bosmans was named Young Chef of the Year for Wallonia in 2024.
A curated selection of wines and local craft beers accompanies the dishes. The wine list is listed as one of the restaurant's notable features.
