The story
Dah Makan is an Asian fusion restaurant at Dumortierlaan 64 in Knokke-Heist, Belgium, and it earned a Gault&Millau score of 14.5 for 2026.
The kitchen uses robatayaki, the fireside grilling style often shortened to robata, alongside teppanyaki, cooking on a metal plate. The menu blends Asian and western flavors with fresh, high-end ingredients. Gault&Millau notes subtly spiced curries, Japanese noodles with umami accents, and very tender wagyu beef.
The room was designed around social eating, with dishes meant to be passed and shared. The atmosphere is easygoing and cosy, in the centre of town. Michelin lists the restaurant as Recommended for 2026. Private lunches and dinners suit groups of 20 to 40 guests, with menus tailored to the occasion.
