The story
Een Twee Vijf is a bistro at Molenaarsstraat 125 in Ghent, rated 13.5 by Gault&Millau in 2026. It sits in a corner building with playful neon lighting on the facade.
Tomek Mroszczak, formerly chef at Ganzerik, cooks here and is an associate of Lieven Cobbaut. Le Fooding, which also listed the address in 2026, singled out panko-crusted pork cheek croquettes with beet ketchup. It also noted a pink shoulder of lamb in a Thai peanut curry with braised green cabbage and green beans. Dessert was a vanilla mascarpone mousse with a dulce de leche center and cookie crumble.
The interior is sober and symmetrical, with a long dark wood bar, bistro chairs and whitewashed walls. You can take a seat at the bar or settle at one of the small tables. It is a bistro setting that works for a quiet lunch as well as a table of friends.
