The story
Compagnique is a modern French restaurant in Gent, Belgium, at Vellare 93 in Lovendegem. Gault&Millau awarded it 14 points in 2026, and Michelin lists it as Recommended.
Tim and Angelique run the restaurant together. They ran their own Restaurant Woestyne for nine years before opening Compagnique, a smaller room with a more personal approach. The restaurant occupies a renovated farmhouse, and the kitchen cooks with seasonal produce.
Recent dishes include langoustine with daikon, kiwi and lychee in a Thai vinaigrette, and veal rib-eye with cauliflower, avocado and summer truffle. Lunch is a three-course menu at €62 per person. Dinner runs five or six courses at €102 or €120, with optional wine or juice pairings.
