The story
La Broche is a farm-to-table restaurant at rue Grande 22 in Dinant, Belgium. The Michelin Guide gave it a Bib Gourmand for 2026, citing good-quality, good-value cooking, and Gault&Millau awarded it 12 points the same year.
The menu opens with roasted mussels in savory butter with parsley oil and crisp vitelotte potato, or with tuna rolls served with mango and a wasabi dressing. Mains include fish of the day with a peppermint crumble and white wine sauce, and pork belly confit with puffed quinoa. Desserts are kept simple, with a strawberry sablé and lemon cream or a baba with blood orange sorbet.
Several courses draw on nearby producers. The pork plate comes with a cheese nem from the Ferme du Gros Chêne in Méan, and the cheese board features cheeses from the region. Duck foie gras is made in-house as a terrine, served with toasted bread and rhubarb textures.
