The story
Strofilia is a Greek kitchen at rue du Marché aux Porcs 11 in Brussels, and it earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand for 2026, recognising good-quality cooking at good value. The restaurant has built its menu entirely around mezes, so most of the evening is spent sharing plates.
Every dish arrives as a small plate for the table, served with ouzo or a bottle of wine. Cold starters include white taramasalata, bottarga and tzatziki, while grilled octopus and fava, a yellow split pea purée, come from the hot side. The arnaki, lamb shank braised for 24 hours with chickpeas and rosemary, is the heaviest plate on the list.
Gault&Millau describes two atmospheres: a sleek, modern side and a rustic one with brick walls and wooden furniture. The room suits large groups, and the restaurant also offers outdoor seating and private parties. Dessert brings mastiha, salep ice and morello cherry sauce, a Greek finish to a long meal.
