The story
Lune Siamoise is a Thai restaurant at Rue de Tenbosch 108 in Ixelles, Brussels, and the 2026 Michelin Bib Gourmand recognises its good-quality, good-value cooking. The menu sticks close to traditional Thai recipes, with a few dishes that have become house favourites.
The restaurant describes its food as homemade, authentic Thai cooking led by chef Jiw. Gault&Millau gave the restaurant 12 points in 2026 and noted that every dish is cooked à la minute in a small kitchen visible from the door. Its reviewer found the pork pad well balanced.
The Khung Ob Woonsen, glass noodles cooked with scampi, ginger and white pepper, is listed as the restaurant's signature. The Ped Yang Makam brings roast duck in tamarind sauce over crisp noodles, and duck is a recurring speciality. The Tom Kha Kai, a chicken soup in coconut milk, is mild enough for sensitive palates. Spice level can be chosen for the som tam and the yam salads.
