The story
De l'Ogenblik is a Belgian restaurant at Galerie des Princes 1 in Brussels, where the classic kitchen earned a Gault&Millau score of 12 for 2026. The restaurant sits in the Galeries Royales, about 50 meters from the Grand Place, and has served the city since 1969.
Alain Declercq has led the kitchen since 2005, after Gonzalo Gomez cooked here for more than thirty years. The menu leans on French and Belgian specialties, with a seasonal carte for 2026, a gastronomic banquet menu that begins with a house aperitif, and a weekday lunch. Vegetarian options are marked on the menu.
The dining room has outdoor seating and air cooling. Dinner service runs until midnight, Tuesday to Saturday. Yves Delruelle has been part of the team since 1989, and the staff are known for steady, attentive service.
