The story
Comme Chez Soi serves classic French and Belgian cooking at Place Rouppe 23 in Brussels, and it holds one Michelin star (2026). The house has operated in an elegant Brussels townhouse since 1926.
Lionel Rigolet leads the kitchen, which keeps a set of typical dishes on the card alongside newer creations that the menu describes as modern, bright and a little surprising. The menus change with seasonal produce and the chef's inspiration, so guests are asked to mention any allergy when they book. Gault&Millau awarded the restaurant 17.5 points in 2026.
Pastry chef Charlotte Aversa's new desserts include a namelaka made with Piedmont hazelnuts and a spiced biscuit with speculoos mousse, blueberries and cassis gel. The long-standing favourites remain: caramelised orange crêpes, a lime soufflé with mojito granita, and Gascony peaches flambéed in their juices for two or more. Hot desserts must be ordered early in the meal.
A valet attendant is available at the door, and the restaurant offers takeout. The wine list is noted for its range, and a private room is available for groups.
