The story
Aster is a small dinner restaurant at Rue Antoine Dansaert 202 in Brussels, listed as Michelin Recommended in 2026. It serves a set menu with an optional beverage pairing, and vegetarian dining is part of its offer.
The summer menu is built on sustainable, locally caught fish and seafood alongside vegetables. Dinner is one fixed menu at 120 euros, with a beverage pairing at 64 euros. During the coast season the kitchen can adapt only for vegetarians. Any other dietary request raised on the night carries a 20 euro supplement, because the team is so small.
Ydris and Túbo, who sign the restaurant's farewell note, will close Aster in Brussels permanently on 25 April 2026. Until then, dinner is served Wednesday to Saturday. A summer pop-up then runs in Ostend from 4 June to 22 August. The We're Smart Green Guide awarded Aster 1 Radish in 2026, a nod to the sustainable sourcing behind the menu.
