The story
L'Épisode in Bertrix is a modern French restaurant at Rue de Waillimont 2, Saint-Médard, 6887, on the Domaine de Waillimont. Gault&Millau gave it 14 points in 2026, and Michelin lists it as Recommended the same year.
Chef Jordan Boreux cooks with produce from the region and herbs grown in the estate garden. The kitchen draws on French, Belgian and wider European influences, and the menus change with the seasons. Gault&Millau praised five years of regional, elegant and creative cooking here.
Past seasonal dishes have included red mullet with a bouillabaisse-style garnish and duck breast served pink with brown butter sweet potato. The Suspense tasting menu is offered every evening at 85 euros, and the weekly lunch menu starts at 32 euros for two courses.
