The story
De la terre à l'assiette is a modern French restaurant at Rue de la Poste 13 in Arlon, rated 13.5 by Gault&Millau in 2026. Magali and Guillaume Lempens run it as a bistronomic table built on local produce.
Gault&Millau describes chef Guillaume Lempens's cooking as honest bistronomy, served in what used to be a bank branch. The Michelin Guide also lists the address as Recommended for 2026. The house describes its approach as simple, sincere dishes made with finesse, in a room where people take their time.
The inspectors singled out a creamy burratina on clear tomato water with basil oil and tomato sorbet. The current carte includes hamachi crudo with buttermilk, beetroot and pomegranate, and skrei with morels, vin jaune sabayon and wild garlic. Roast cauliflower comes with vadouvan and labneh. For dessert there is a kalamansi mousse with yuzu white chocolate. A lunch menu is offered at 35 €.
