The story
Kommilfoo is a French restaurant at Vlaamse Kaai 17 in Antwerpen, awarded one Michelin Star in 2026 for high quality cooking.
Kommilfoo opened in 1998 and has become a mainstay of Antwerp's South. Gault&Millau gave it 16 points in 2026 and notes that chef Olivier de Vinck still surprises. The guide tastes his drive for balance, complexity and perfectionism in dishes such as scallops from Dieppe.
For now the kitchen serves set menu formulas only, with no à la carte dishes, so that quality stays at the level guests expect. The restaurant has outdoor seating, air conditioning and parking, and it also hosts private parties.
