The story
Fortuin, at Gemeenteplein 4 in Kontich near Antwerp, is a Belgian and French brasserie that Michelin lists as Recommended for 2026. Gault&Millau gave it 13 points the same year.
The brasserie serves nostalgic dishes in a relaxed, contemporary way. Gault&Millau notes that the kitchen has kept traditional preparations such as baked cod since the restaurant opened. Lunch and dinner are both served in the brasserie.
Fortuin is a full hospitality concept with a staminee, a brasserie, private dining and party halls of different sizes. The staminee suits a pint or aperitif, with small bites on offer, and draws both young and old. The event spaces host private and business gatherings. Sunday breakfast is another draw.
