The story

Eusebi Deli & Restaurant, Italian Deli and Restaurant on Park Road, Glasgow

Eusebi is an Italian deli and restaurant at 152 Park Road in Glasgow, awarded 1 fork by Gambero Rosso in 2023. Giovanna Eusebi runs it as a deli, café and dining room in one, in a red-and-white corner building in the West End.

Food rooted in Southern Italy

The menu draws on Giovanna's family table in Southern Italy, where her grandparents and mother farmed, and on the flavours of Rome and Calabria. Fresh pasta, a bakery and daily market dishes anchor the cooking. The Good Food Guide (2026) notes how the kitchen pairs time-honoured Italian tradition with seasonal Scottish produce.

Dishes worth ordering

Breakfast is a big draw, with eggs "energia" (avocado, chilli and lime purée) and savoury breakfast rolls. Downstairs, the dining room serves pork cheek ragù and gnocchi genovese. Among the larger plates is chargrilled halibut with courgette and basil purée. Cakes and classic desserts close the meal.

The deli and the drinks list

The deli side of Eusebi grew from a family business that began importing from small Italian artisan makers about 40 years ago. Buffalo mozzarella from Naples, artisan cheeses, and homemade sausage and pasta sit on the shelves. Regional Italian wines share the list with aperitivi, vermouths and spritzes, and the site also lists a vegan menu.

The Good Food Guide — Good

'So good to have Eusebi raise the bar in this local neighbourhood,’ is a typically enthusiastic endorsement for this Scottish/Italian marriage made in Glasgow. Giovanna Eusebi’s jam-packed deli/café/restaurant hybrid cherishes the time-honoured traditions of her homeland and leavens them with ample supplies of seasonal Scottish produce. Occupying a colourful red-and-white corner site, the venue scores heavily with breakfast and brunch, served to a merry throng of workers and shoppers in the ground-floor space. Come for eggs ‘energia’ (with avocado, chilli and lime purée) or one of their savoury breakfast rolls; alternatively, breeze in for coffee and a sweet treat. If you want something more substantial, graduate to the downstairs dining room for plates of pork cheek ragù, gnocchi genovese or, perhaps, one of the big main courses such as chargrilled halibut with courgette and basil purée. After that, cakes and classic desserts have plenty of Italian swagger. Regional wines from the old country keep company with aperitivi, vermouths and spritzes. Eusebi’s slogan is ‘Food, Family, Life and Passion’ – which just about sums it up. Picture credits: Gerardo Jaconelli
