The story
[so:lt] sits at Schweizer Str. 76 in Frankfurt am Main's Sachsenhausen district, where the Mediterranean-leaning kitchen earned 2 Kochlöffel in the Schlemmer Atlas 2026. The house calls its approach Nu Well Cuisine.
The menu draws on Israeli cooking, set alongside German and French technique. Classic dishes are reinterpreted with influences from different latitudes, built on regional produce the kitchen sources on a regular basis. The name is the phonetic spelling of the English word "salt," a mineral the team sees as common to every cuisine.
The dining room mixes industrial chic with colors that harmonize, and leather benches and large windows keep it warm. A terrace faces Schweizer Straße. Mümtaz Yildiz leads the bar, with cocktails and reinterpreted classics meant to round off the kitchen's dishes or open the evening. The rooms and bar can also be booked for private parties and company events.
