The story
MAIN TOWER Restaurant & Lounge holds one Michelin star (2026) for its modern, internationally minded cooking on the 53rd floor at Neue Mainzer Straße 52 in Frankfurt am Main. The dining room sits 187 meters above the street, with the city skyline right outside the glass.
Chef Martin Weghofer cooks a French-rooted style with Japanese influences. Dinner is a signature menu in six courses, or a shorter version in five, and the dishes change with the seasons. Der Feinschmecker gave the restaurant a rating of 3 in 2026. The kitchen takes allergies and intolerances into account.
Lake trout with kohlrabi appears among the dishes, as do lobster with corn salad and sweetbreads paired with white lardo. For an extra course, the kitchen suggests Japanese Wagyu with porcini and white truffle. The wine pairing follows the menu, and the list covers German and international bottles.
The dining room is modern and stylish, and its windows make the skyline part of the meal. From 9 PM the lounge opens to guests who have not booked dinner. It has club chairs and small cube tables placed near the windows, and it serves champagne, snacks and a list of around 800 wines. Events can be held here for up to 80 guests.
