The story
Daheim im Lorsbacher Thal is a Hessian kitchen in Frankfurt am Main, at Dreieichstr. 28 in 60594. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 2,5 Kochlöffel in 2026, and the restaurant is known as much for its apple wine as for its food.
The kitchen cooks with regional ingredients and prepares its dishes fresh on site each day. Frankfurt classics such as Bratwurst and Schnitzel appear on the menu, alongside plain home-style cooking. Vegan dishes are part of the regular offering.
The apple wine list is a central part of the visit, with more than 300 international varieties according to the Schlemmer Atlas. The building is a historic tavern with the character of past centuries. The restaurant reopened in mid-August 2024 under the Daheim name after a long renovation.
