The story
Le Comptoir is a French restaurant at 16 Chế Lan Viên in Da Nang, and its wine list of more than 120 labels earned a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2025. The Counter, where guests sit beside the kitchen and watch the brigade work, is the centre of the room.
Chef Olivier Corti, who comes from Lyon, founded Le Comptoir and runs its kitchen. The menu changes monthly around seasonal ingredients, with modern global influences added to classic French technique. Sommelier Myriam Moretto leads the wine program, which pairs with both the tasting menus and the à la carte list.
The Menu Découverte opens with blue crab, served with apple and celery sorbet, avocado cream and traditional Vietnamese banh bia. A foie gras "Faux-Pho" brings the flavors of pho into a French preparation. Lamb arrives three ways on one plate: a green crusted saddle, barbecue ribs and a confit belly crépinette. Wagyu beef comes with green pea cream and black pudding sauce.
