The story
Stellina Pizzeria in Washington is an Italian pizzeria at 399 Morse St NE, and the Michelin Bib Gourmand (2026) recognizes its good quality, good value cooking. The room works for a sit-down meal, lunch or dinner, as well as takeaway and delivery.
Co-owners Antonio Matarazzo and chef Matteo Venini built the menu around a Neo-Neapolitan dough that is light and crisp. The same dough serves as the base for the panini. House-made pastas, including tonnarelli, sit alongside the pizzas on the Italian menu.
The kitchen takes its cues from the street food of the southern Italian coast. Fried seafood and vegetables arrive in paper cones called cuoppo. A full bar pours Italian wines, beers and craft cocktails, and the patio takes dogs at every location.
