The kitchen

Chef Michael Dardenne has cooked at The St. Francisville Inn from the start, when he handled every meal of the day alone. Today a team of eight works with him, testing spice and flavor pairings in the kitchen. The wine list carries a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence (2025).

The dining rooms

The formal main room has hand-painted walls, a grand chandelier and a fireplace. The sun room began in 1880 as an open porch, and on fair days its glass doors open to the courtyard fountain. The breakfast room is lined with English wallpaper.
