The story
Halls Chophouse is a Nashville steakhouse and seafood restaurant at 1600 West End Ave., Nashville, Tennessee, and it earned a 2025 Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence. The menu pairs classic beef with shellfish, from a raw bar to dry-aged cuts.
USDA Prime and Midwestern Angus beef is flown in from Allen Brothers of Chicago. Each cut is wet-aged or dry-aged. The 34 oz dry-aged Tomahawk rib eye is the largest cut on the steak list. Seafood runs alongside it, with a Halls Seafood Tower of oysters, shrimp and lobster tail, and pan-seared Nantucket diver scallops served with caviar.
The restaurant also holds a second Wine Spectator Award of Excellence from 2025. Guests may bring their own bottles, with a $45 corkage fee for a 750 mL bottle (limit two) and $90 for a magnum. Bottles already on the wine list carry a $90 corkage fee.
