The Restaurant at JUSTIN

Californian and contemporary cooking at JUSTIN's Paso Robles estate, with a 2026 Michelin star and produce grown on the property.

The story

The Restaurant at JUSTIN in Lake Nacimiento: Californian Dining at a Paso Robles Winery

The Restaurant at JUSTIN in Lake Nacimiento serves Californian cuisine at 11680 Chimney Rock Road, Paso Robles, California 93446, and holds a Michelin star (2026). The farm-to-table dining room sits on the JUSTIN winery, where the grapes are grown and the wine is made.

Cooking from the farmstead

Executive Chef Rachel Haggstrom cooks from a 26-acre farmstead, and nearly 70 percent of the produce on the menu is grown on the property. The contemporary menu changes with the season, so peas, asparagus, edible flowers and strawberries appear when they are ripe. Guests can walk the fruit and vegetable gardens before or after dinner.

The dining room

The room opens to an indoor-outdoor space with views of grapevines and a green orchard. Outdoor seating and air conditioning are both available, so the room suits a warm afternoon as well as an evening meal.

Wine and the tasting menu

The kitchen offers a seasonal multicourse dinner tasting menu. The four-course dinner can be paired with wines chosen for each dish. Every JUSTIN wine is also available by the glass or bottle, and Wine Spectator gave the list a Best of Award of Excellence in 2025.
