The story
Blue Hill at Stone Barns, in Greenburgh, New York, serves a contemporary American menu at 630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills, and holds a Michelin two-star rating (2026) for excellent cooking.
Executive chef and co-owner Dan Barber cooks a farm-to-table menu built around what grows on the adjacent land. The menu can change at short notice, depending on what is in season and being harvested that day. The kitchen works from the farm's pastures and fields, so the ingredients on the plate are often a few steps from where they were picked.
The private dining room overlooks the vegetable field and herb garden, and seats parties of up to 12. Before dinner, guests can walk the open-air greenhouses, gardens and livestock shelters at Stone Barns Center for Agriculture. Forbes Travel Guide awarded the restaurant Four-Star status in 2026.
