John's Food & Wine, at 2114 N. Halsted St. in Chicago, is an American restaurant known for its interesting wine list. It received a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2025 and is listed as Recommended by Michelin in 2026.
The private dining room seats up to 24 guests for rehearsal dinners, showers, corporate dinners and family celebrations. Each event follows a custom seasonal menu, with optional wine pairings and cocktail selections chosen by the team. Food and beverage minimums apply.
Groups of seven to ten can book a large party reservation in the dining room, seated alongside regular service. The seasonal chef's four-course menu is priced at $115 per guest and covers an appetizer, mid-course, main and dessert. The menu is available to review about a week before the reservation, and availability is limited.
