The story
Wild Common is an American contemporary restaurant in Charleston, South Carolina, at 103 Spring St. It earned one Michelin star in 2026 for high quality cooking, and the kitchen serves a chef-led tasting menu.
Executive Chef Orlando Pagán, a James Beard nominee, builds the multi-course tasting menu around local and seasonal ingredients. His cooking takes cues from international influences and a local pantry. The menu runs Wednesday through Sunday.
Dinner takes place in the indoor dining room, where curated Lowcountry art comes from the Charleston Artist Collective. Diners can also sit at the Chef's Counter to watch the team work up close, or book the private courtyard or The Overlook for semi-private gatherings. The optional wine pairings usually open with Champagne, and Wine Spectator gave the restaurant an Award of Excellence in 2020.
