The story
Restaurant Sow, at Pensons Yard in Tenbury Wells, is a modern British kitchen that holds two AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence (2026). The restaurant sits on the Netherwood Estate, on the Herefordshire and Worcestershire border, and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Andrew Sheridan, the chef behind the restaurant, cooks with vegetables, fruit and herbs grown in the estate's own gardens. Pensons Farm supplies the kitchen with organic produce, and the team sources most other ingredients from trusted suppliers nearby. Michelin also lists Sow as Recommended for 2026.
The Short Taster menu costs £60 per person and starts with tomato beer and stout loaf with cultured butter. The tasting then moves through potato risotto with caramelised shallot and Gorwydd Caerphilly, and Herefordshire Large White pig with courgette and baby leeks. It closes with Netherwood Estate honey, burnt gooseberry and lemon verbena. Vegetarian and pescatarian options are available.
