The story
The White Hart is a modern British pub and Brasserie at 51 Stockport Road, Lydgate, Oldham, and it is listed as Michelin Recommended (2026) and holds 2 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence (2026). The building sits at the top of the hill, with wide views and a fire to sit beside with a pint.
The Brasserie has three dining areas: the Barn Room, the Old Tap Room and the Dining Room. The menu runs from pub classics to more refined cooking, and it can be enjoyed across the whole venue.
The main building dates from 1788 and keeps many of its original features. Log-burning stoves and coal fires warm the bar. Twelve of the 16 en-suite bedrooms are in the main building, with four family suites in the newer Cottage next door.
