The story
Three Darlings is a Modern British bistro at 241B Pavilion Road in Chelsea, London, and it holds a Michelin Recommended award for 2026. Jason Atherton named the all-day restaurant after his three daughters, and it opened in 2024 as part of a trio of new Atherton sites.
The kitchen runs from breakfast through brunch and dinner, with Benedict breakfasts and weekend brunches early in the day. The Good Food Guide describes the cooking as eclectic rather than rooted in a single tradition. That approach shows across the menu, which draws on Spanish, Japanese and Chinese flavours.
Small plates start with harissa flatbread topped with Kalamata olives and red pepper. Crapaudine beets come with burrata and nasturtiums, and a wood-fired scallop is served Rockefeller-style with fermented miso. Among the mains, shorthorn beef ribs arrive in char siu dressing with Szechuan pepper and red chilli, and skate wing schnitzel is served with katsu curry and lime.
The entrance sits beneath pedestrianised Pavilion Road and is easy to miss. Inside, the dining room spans two floors, with a pastel-toned room that looks onto the kitchen. Bar seating opens onto an outdoor terrace planted with plenty of foliage.
Dessert choices include a bun and butter pudding with rum and raisin, and a baked Alaska with yoghurt and blood orange. The main wine list is arranged in multiples of £50. Wines by the glass start at £8.50, and by the pint from £26.
