The story
Bunch of Grapes is a modern British restaurant at 14 Silver Street, Bradford-on-Avon, and holds a two-rosette AA rating for culinary excellence (2026). The family-run pub-restaurant is run by a husband-and-wife team, with a focus on high-quality produce and attentive service.
Head Chef Tony Casey leads a small kitchen that changes its menus with the seasons. The aim is to show British ingredients at their best. The Michelin Guide has also listed the restaurant as Recommended for 2026.
Diners can choose from an à la carte menu, a bar menu, or 5- and 7-course tasting menus. The kitchen also offers breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Sunday roast is the best-known table here. Options include beef sirloin, pork belly, chicken breast, and a sharing lamb platter for two. A mushroom and pine nut pithivier covers vegetarians, with a vegan version also available.
Every roast comes with a Yorkshire pudding and bottomless gravy. Booking early is recommended for Sunday lunch.
The bar pours on-tap beers from Bristol's Lost And Grounded brewery, alongside seasonal cocktails and coffee. The drinks list draws as much as possible from suppliers in south-west England.
The first floor has two dining rooms for private parties, weddings and workshops. The ground floor is dog-friendly, and the venue offers outdoor seating and a riverside terrace.
