The story
La Petite Maison Dubai, at Gate Village 08 in DIFC, is a French and Mediterranean restaurant that earned a Michelin Recommended listing in 2026 and a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence in 2025. The room sits beside a bougainvillea-lined terrace, and the French kitchen cooks to order.
The menu follows produce from the Côte d'Azur and the Ligurian coast, with artichokes, lemons, olives, courgettes, tomatoes and girolles leading each dish. Plates are finished à la minute and leave the pass as soon as they are ready. Beef tartare with capers and cornichons sits alongside a lyonnaise salad with veal bacon, and pan-fried scallops come with pumpkin purée.
Inside, white china, fine linen and marble form a pared-down base, broken up by bright modern colour and 20th century paintings from southern France. Outside, olive trees and sun-warmed seating look onto the terrace. The bar takes up nearly one full wall, and the Déjà Vu cocktail menu centres on the Tomatini.
