The story
logy, at 39, Lane 258, Ruiguang Road in Taipei's Neihu District, serves an Asian contemporary tasting menu that holds Michelin 2 Star recognition for 2026. The kitchen draws on Japanese and Taiwanese heritage, and the restaurant reopened in 2025 after first opening in 2018.
Chef Ryogo Tahara was born in Hokkaido in 1983. He trained in Italy under Gennaro Esposito and Maurilio Garola, then spent three years as sous-chef to Hiroyasu Kawate at Florilège in Tokyo. The menu combines ingredients, techniques and traditions from both Japan and Taiwan. Dishes change with seasonal produce and supply.
Diners can choose a seven-glass wine pairing, a five-glass alcohol pairing, or a non-alcohol pairing. The alcohol pairing does not include an aperitif. Outside bottles are welcome for a corkage fee, and the restaurant also holds a Black Pearl 1 Diamond (2026).
The dining room is intimate, and logy does not offer a private dining room. Flash photography is not permitted, so guests should expect a quiet, focused setting. Seats cannot be chosen when booking, and they cannot be changed on the reserved date.
