The story
Eder's Eichmühle sits at Eichmühle 2 in Wädenswil, where the Eder family runs a French-leaning kitchen with global accents. Gault&Millau awarded it 16 points in 2026, praising its classic cooking and attentive service.
The menu moves between tuna sashimi and tataki, a carpaccio of octopus with mixed pickles, and a house-made Pastetli filled with veal sweetbreads and chanterelles. Game comes from the Puschlav valley. The summer buck arrives with wild jus, Frisettes spätzli and stuffed morels, and the cheesecake is served with cherry compote and raspberry sorbet.
The house is a Biedermeier property, and its garden has old chestnut trees that shade the tables in summer. In winter, a modern glass annex offers an alternative to the cosy Stübli. Michelin lists the restaurant as Recommended for 2026.
