The story
Restaurant Pony sits at Grabenstrasse 1 in Sigigen, above Ruswil, and holds a Gault&Millau score of 14 for 2026. The seasonal Mediterranean kitchen has been run by the Felber family for three generations, and today Philipp and Andrea Felber work the stove together.
The menu changes with the season but keeps a set of Swiss and French classics that the guide singles out for their precision. Shrimp cocktail comes with toasted sourdough. The rabbit from Sigigen is served as thighs, and Chateaubriand arrives in two courses.
Asian flavours turn up too, most visibly in a bao bun with crisp bacon, coriander and peanut.
The dining room is split between a relaxed Beizli and an elegant pavilion, and there is outdoor seating. Michelin lists the restaurant as Recommended for 2026. Steven Müller, chef de service, oversees a wine cellar that is well stocked and varied.
