The story
Woodstockholm is a contemporary Swedish restaurant at Mosebacke Torg 9 in Stockholm, rated Very fine level by the White Guide in 2026. The Michelin Guide also lists it as Recommended for 2026. The restaurant has just marked its tenth year, which it celebrates with a cookbook of more than 40 recipes (available in Swedish only).
The kitchen builds its menu around a theme and changes it regularly. The current one, The Grand Voyage: Provence, follows three months of San Sebastián and sets sail for the French Riviera, with aioli, tapenade and bouillabaisse as reference points. Vegetarian dishes are part of every menu. The wine list leans toward smaller producers with sustainable, non-toxic methods, and the alcohol-free range keeps growing.
Evenings bring a second room into play, a former furniture store designed by Uglycute and linked to the bistro by a secret passage. Every piece of furniture is handmade for the space. Groups of up to 14 can book a seven-dish tasting menu cooked by a designated chef, with wines chosen by the sommeliers.
