The story
Allegrine is a French brasserie at Kammakargatan 22 in Stockholm, where chef Danyel Couet cooks French food shaped by his grandmother's kitchen in Paris. The restaurant holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand (2026) for good quality, good value cooking.
Couet named the restaurant after his French grandmother, and her kitchen gave him his first food memories of thyme, garlic and aromatic spices. He has helped open more than 20 restaurants in 25 years, and he says his pull back to French cooking has only grown stronger. The kitchen cooks with ingredients that are in season, interpreted in the team's own way.
The color scheme runs blue, white and red throughout, a nod to the grandmother the restaurant carries. Subdued dark decor gives way to colorful glass domes overhead, and a DJ works the long bar. Behind the bar, the open kitchen is visible, and the plates carry blue floral patterns set against patinated silver cutlery. The White Guide places the room at its Very fine level (2026).
The Kitchen Table sits beside the open kitchen at Bar Allegrine. Everyone in the party eats the same fixed menu, modeled on family dinners at home in Paris. Parties of 8 to 12 can take the entire table, booked through the reservation link.
