The story
JORD serves New Nordic cooking at Johannesborgparken 1A in Linköping, Sweden, and the White Guide placed it in its Masters class for 2026. The modern Cuisine menu changes with the seasons, and the kitchen builds each night around ingredients that are at their best that week.
The city restaurant offers three formats. The Spontankvällen, or spontaneous evening, lasts two hours from 600 SEK. You choose freely from the night's dishes, and you can book at short notice or drop in if a seat is free. The Halvkväll is a five-course New Nordic menu from 1,000 SEK, with optional drink packages. The Helkväll runs about five hours, with at least twelve courses for 2,500 SEK.
Spring 2026 includes nine evening tastings at 18:30, held on Tuesdays. Each session pours at least four wines with small bites, and the themes range from Champagne and Riesling to volcanic-soil wines and rosé. Tickets cost 850 SEK and include drinks. Groups can also book private tastings with the restaurant's sommeliers.
