The story
Marc Fosh, at De la Missió 7 in Palma, is a modern cuisine restaurant that holds a Michelin star for 2026. The kitchen builds its tasting menus around produce from across the Balearic Islands.
The menus change with the season, but the shape stays steady: a run of snacks, a bread course with sobrasada, fish and meat courses, then dessert and petits fours. Recent dishes include beetroot gazpacho with marinated local serviola, Dover sole veronique with pea and herb purée, and slow cooked pigeon finished over charcoal with sweet potato and tamarind. Tasting menus are priced from 110 to 159 euros, with an optional wine tasting. The Smart Green Guide also awards the restaurant two radishes for 2026.
The restaurant occupies the 17th century Hotel Convent de la Missió in Palma's old town, with a relaxed, contemporary interior. A private table seats up to 10 guests, suited to business dinners and family celebrations. For larger groups, the whole restaurant can be hired.
