The story
Bo.TiC is a Catalan restaurant in la Bisbal d'Empordà, at Avenida Costa Brava 6 in Corçà, and it holds two Michelin stars (2026). Albert Sastregener and Cristina Torrent have run it since 2007, cooking a creative version of traditional Catalan food.
Albert Sastregener, the chef, and Cristina Torrent, the sommelier, describe their cooking as author-led and anchored in the traditional Catalan kitchen. The menus lean on local names, such as Palamós white prawns and anchovies from L'Escala. Their approach favors careful sourcing of the best raw ingredients.
The Menú Degustació costs 190 € and the Menú del Xef costs 250 €. Dishes include mussels with escabeche, white asparagus with ham jelly, and lamb pressed with rosemary air. Drinks are not included in the menu prices, and the wine list holds more than 900 references from many countries.
