The story
Maca de Castro serves contemporary Mallorcan cuisine at Juno s/n in Port d'Alcúdia, where it earned one Michelin star in 2026 for high quality cooking. The restaurant sits within the Grupo DCastro, and its kitchen works from the island's own land and sea.
Chef Maca de Castro has cooked with local ingredients since before they became fashionable. She has long explored Mallorca for exceptional produce, including fresh seafood and mare's milk. Vegetables come from her own orchards in Sa Pobla, and the menu changes with the season and the harvest.
The tasting menu is priced at €165 with VAT included, and drinks are not included. A wine pairing of eight wines from Mallorca and the mainland costs €110, VAT included. The restaurant also holds three radishes in the We're Smart Green Guide (2026).
The room is quiet, with no background music, so attention stays on the plates. The air carries the smell of wine barrels, and the wine list brings bottles with stories from around the world.
