The story
Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura in Seoul is an Italian contemporary restaurant at Gucci Osteria Seoul 5F, Apgujeong-ro, Gangnam-gu. The Michelin Guide recommended it in 2026, and it is one of the Seoul kitchens that the Michelin list named that year.
Chef Jeon Hyung-gyu leads the kitchen and builds dishes from Korean and Italian ingredients. The restaurant takes its philosophy from Massimo Bottura, and the website frames the menu as modern Italian cooking that keeps heritage while looking ahead. Creativity, elegance and a sense of humour all show up in the cooking, according to the restaurant.
The kitchen works with carefully chosen Korean produce alongside Italian flavours. Gucci Osteria also runs sister restaurants in Florence and Tokyo, and the Seoul room carries the same contemporary Italian approach. Gambero Rosso awarded the restaurant two forks in 2026.
