The story
Hiša Raduha is a farm-to-table restaurant in Ljubno ob Savinji, Slovenia, at Luče 67, 3334 Luče. Gault&Millau awarded the kitchen 16 points for 2026, and the house serves dinner alongside its bed and breakfast rooms in the Upper Savinja Valley.
Vegetables and herbs come from the family garden and the surrounding valley, while meat and fish are sourced locally. Family recipes passed down through generations form the base of the menu, and the chef reworks them with new flavour combinations. Guests with dietary restrictions should say so when they reserve.
The menu's centrepiece is wood-smoked trout from local streams, with golden skin and moist flesh. The kitchen keeps searching for new pairings, and each plate is prepared with close attention to technique.
The sommelier is a member of the family and suggests wines that match the dishes you choose. Rooms sit in the main house and in neighbouring hayracks converted into rustic retreats, with walls of natural wood and stone. Dinner must be reserved in advance for every night of your stay.
