The story
Yaza is a Saudi restaurant at 6315 Prince Sultan Road in As Salamah, Jeddah, and earned a Michelin Recommended distinction in 2026. The kitchen works from Najdi roots, with a menu that reshapes traditional dishes for a contemporary room.
Gault&Millau awarded Yaza 13 points in 2026 and praised the kitchen for proudly Najdi roots and respectful twists. Mantus, meat-filled dumplings, come with a sharp ponzu sauce. The najel ceviche is fresh and punchy. Jareesh is "italianised" with parmesan and a rich lamb gravy over tender confit meat and soft semolina.
The dining room is large and contemporary, with dim lighting. Service is efficient and gives useful advice, with a special mention for Hattan. Dessert is creamy, milky Om Ali, prepared like French toast.
