The story
Ocean sits at Rua Anneliese Pohl, Alporchinhos, in Porches, within Armação de Pêra, Portugal. The Asian Fusion and seafood kitchen holds two Michelin stars (2026) for excellent cooking, and dinner is served as a fixed tasting menu.
Essência is the menu of Chef Hans Neuner, who returned to Portugal after years of travel exploring Portuguese gastronomy. Seasonal ingredients from the Algarve give traditional dishes a new form. The menu costs 315 € per person.
Plates mix Portuguese produce with Asian fusion technique, such as carabineiro with black truffle and a chouriço-based francesinha, or tuna belly with Pedro Ximénez 25 Anos. The wine pairing is 225 € per person, and a premium pairing is 395 €. The Smart Green Guide has awarded Ocean two radishes (2026).
