The story
Kieliszki na Próżnej, at ul. Próżna 12 in Warsaw, runs a modern cuisine kitchen built on seasonal produce, and the Michelin Guide gave it a Bib Gourmand in 2026 for good-quality, good-value cooking.
The menu follows what is at its best in each season, so dishes shift as suppliers' ingredients change. The head chef combines flavors with imagination and a willingness to take risks. Gault&Millau scored the restaurant 13.5 in 2026.
Seriola comes with white asparagus, buttermilk and trout roe. Beef tartare is paired with smoked bacon, horseradish, buckwheat groats and sherry sauce. Guinea fowl appears with morels, and dessert is a waffle with farmhouse cream, strawberries and wild strawberries.
The dining room occupies an old tenement building in the city centre. Tables are wooden and unclothed, the walls carry black-and-white graphics, and glasses hang above the bar. The wine list runs to more than 250 bottles, mostly from small and mid-sized producers, with a strong focus on Italy. It suits a business lunch as well as a dinner with friends.
