The story
Szara Gęś, at Rynek Główny 17 in Kraków, serves a Polish and Asian kitchen on the city's Main Market Square, and Gault&Millau gave it 13.5 points in 2026.
The menu draws on Polish culinary tradition. Gault&Millau singled out the goose liver terrine, served with fruit confit, mustard and a crisp pistachio crunch. Among the mains, the braised veal comes with freekeh, beetroot purée and a duxelles sauce.
The signature dessert, called "Grey Goose," is built to look like a goose egg. Inside is mango cream, set in a cotton candy nest. The wine list is the largest in Kraków, with more than 520 carefully selected labels, and the restaurant received a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2025.
