The story
Rijnzicht, at Sterreschans 15 in Pannerden, is a French restaurant that holds one Michelin star for 2026. The room sits by the water, and the kitchen runs on a classic French base with a seasonal, inventive streak.
Chef Mike Cornelissen builds his dishes on the classic French kitchen and lets the seasons set the direction. The signature and innovation menu can also be ordered fully vegetarian. The restaurant describes its approach as balance, refinement and a sense of experience, rather than a fixed house style.
Guests choose between the signature and innovation menu, a four-course chef's selection that changes with the season, or an à la carte card that pairs signature dishes with newer creations. The all-in signature and innovation arrangement runs seven courses with a sparkling aperitif, wine or mocktail pairings, water, and coffee or tea, listed at 220 euros.
Sommelier Carolien Cornelissen curates the wine list, mixing established houses with small, unexpected finds. Gault&Millau scored Rijnzicht 17.5 in 2026 and described it as a beautiful place to unwind along the Pannerden Canal, on the edge of the Betuwe. The restaurant also has a private room and outdoor seating.
