The story
Yun House sits at 5B, Four Seasons Hotel, 145 Jalan Ampang in Kuala Lumpur, where the Cantonese kitchen has been recognised in the 2026 Michelin Recommended selection. The restaurant serves a Cantonese menu of seafood and dim sum in a room filled with natural light and views of KLCC Park.
Executive Chef Jimmy Wong, a Hong Kong native, has worked in hotel kitchens across Asia, including posts in Singapore and China. He won a television cooking competition broadcast on CCTV-2 in Beijing. Dim sum is led by Ng Meng Loong, who has more than 20 years of experience combining traditional Cantonese technique with a lighter modern touch. The menu is pork-free.
The kitchen's named signatures include an Australian scallop and red-brown rice dumpling with cuttlefish, a lemongrass jelly with bird's nest, and a deep-fried crab shell stuffed with crab imperial. Diners can choose from set menus, a lunch dim sum selection and an à la carte list.
A private dining room seats 10 to 18 guests and suits special occasions and business meetings, with views over KLCC Park. Minimum spends apply.
