The story
Somm is a wine bar serving modern cuisine at Pylimo Gatvė 21 in Vilnius, Lithuania, and Gault&Millau gave it 14.5 in 2026. The kitchen cooks to be drunk with, and the wine list is the reason many guests come back.
The bar is built around its bottles, with a particular focus on French, Italian and Austrian wines and a wide choice of champagne and sparkling. The team describes wine as something that should be shared, and the staff pour with that in mind. Michelin lists Somm as Recommended for 2026.
The food menu is short and rotates often. Raw dishes include tuna tataki and mackerel sashimi, while the hot pans bring prawns with carrots and celery and a Portobello mushroom with onion jam and goat cheese. Mains run from octopus leg and sea bream fillet to a 230-gram Argentinian beef entrecote. Desserts stay close to tonka bean and caramel, with churros, salted caramel fondant and crème brûlée.
The four-course tasting dinner takes about 2.5 hours and costs 100 euros per person, with a sommelier-chosen wine for each course and four glasses in total. Other evenings include wine and food pairing dinners, themed wine tastings, and dinners with visiting winemakers. Private rooms suit birthdays and small gatherings, and the venue offers takeout and an online wine shop.
