The restaurant occupies its own house on the former precinct of Todaiji temple, with Mount Wakakusa rising behind it. Small private parties can be hosted here. A guest room is also available, offering a quiet night and a morning view of the forest, reserved for one group at a time.
The house describes its cooking as a return to memory, rooted in local ground yet refined, with each season shaped by the time, place and people around it. Gault&Millau awarded it 16.5 in 2026. The wine list is noted as interesting.
